In 1958, Shalimar Steel Re-rolling Mills (Pvt) Ltd began in a small building with a limited machinery, lots of manual labor and a plan to liquidate steel to develop the finest products. Shortly thereafter, other opportunities seized by company founder set Shalimar Steel on a path of growth, innovation and industry leadership. Since then, growth of the company has been steady, if not at times explosive. At first, there was just a handful of employees. Today, there are over 1000 employees of the Shalimar Steel. At start the mills mainly dealt in the production of mild steel, but later, included many new product categories like medium carbon steel and alloy steel. Initially, we serviced customers within a small radius of our province. Now, we ship material throughout the country from Khyber to Karachi and in other countries too.
