Ltd. is a new generation Solid State Induction Steel Furnace Unit located at Jarikas, Mirpur Jatlan Road, almost 8 km from the main city centre of Mirpur.The high frequency Steel Furnace Project, based on self generated hydro electric Project is a new and innovative idea towards sustainable industry in the country,  conceived and implemented by the local entrepreneurs. The captive hydro power project was planned and set up at the Jari outlet of Mangla Dam on Irrigation releases allocated to AJK from Mangla Dam. The Plant and machinery of the Hydel Project was imported from Germany and Czech republic whereas the Steel Furnace Plant was imported from the U.K and set up at a distance of around 2 KM from the Power House in 2003 and is in operation since then. Having competitive advantage of cheap hydel electricity, Mangla Metals project becomes more viable as its efficiency, per unit electricity consumption and overall production capacity is unmatchable with other competitive units of the same size working in the Country
